Neurodiversity In Our Community
Neurodiversity is estimated to account for 15% of the UK population. With 276,000 people currently living in Brighton that's at least 41,400 people in Brighton alone.
Neurodiversity includes but is not limited to ADHD, Autism, Autism Spectrum Conditions, Sensory Processing Disorders, Anxiety Disorder, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dyspraxia, Dysgraphia and Tourettes.
We have such a diverse, accepting, inclusive and welcoming community here in Brighton but for some reason we felt that the city was lacking spaces that were aimed at providing a the neurodiverse.
Busy streets, noisy cafes and a lack of awareness of needs for this community, and this is the main reason and ethos behind our Puzzle Bored Cafe.
